Der Muttervater Sabeel ist ein Sohn des berühmten Gassir aus der Hamdan-Tochter Shabaa der Familie Kuhaylan Kroush.KHALED wurde am 7. August 1983 im Brigittenhof geboren. Seine Eltern stammen aus dem berühmtesten aller Arabergestüte, dem ägyptischen Staatsgestüt EL ZAHRAA. KHALED wurde am 7. August 1983 im Brigittenhof geboren. Seine Eltern stammen aus dem berühmtesten aller Arabergestüte, dem ägyptischen Staatsgestüt EL ZAHRAA.
Seine Mutter, die Fuchsstute stammt aus der Familie der Saqulawia Gidrania der dunkelbraunen, die über das königliche Gestüt INSHASS für El Zahraa ausgewählt wurde.
| Kasr el Nile ist der Vater von KHALED und kam von El Zahraa über Topolszianky auf den Brigittenhof. Seine Mutter Bint El Nile, eine elegante Fuchsstute, hat Anter zum Vater, so daß Blutanschluß über die Muttermutter hergestellt wurde, denn Rakia ist ebenfalls eine Antertochter! |
| Seine beinahe schwarzbraune Jacke erhielt Kasr el Nile auch durch seinen weltberühmten Vater Tuhotmos, der noch im hohen Alter in die USA exportiert wurde! Er ist übrigens für viele dunkelpigmentierte Pferde in der Ägypterzucht verantwortlich. Er ist ein Sohn der legendären Moniet el Nefous und des braunen Dahman Shawan Hengstes El Sareii. |  |
 | Nun zurück zu KHALED EL ASSUAD, was soviel bedeutet wie "der unsterbliche Schwarze". Er wurde 1985 in Darmstadt Kranichstein gekört und im Jahr darauf Top Ten Hengst auf dem ASIL Cup. Seine Hengstleistungsprüfung legte er 1987 mit hervorragender Bewertung auf der für Deutschland schwersten aller Hengstleistungsprüfungen in Medingen unter einem Pulk von Trakehnerhengsten ab! 1989 konnte KHALED das internationale Championat von Baden Baden gewinnen, auch ein vierter Platz auf dem Worldchampionat in Paris soll nicht unerwähnt bleiben! Bei seinem bisherigen Zuchteinsatz hier in Kulmbach hat er sich bei dem vorgefundenen Stutenstamm sehr gut durchzusetzen vermocht und man kann sagen, daß er seinen Kindern seinen Stempel aufdrückt. |
| Und das nicht nur in der Farbe, sondern auch in seiner Eleganz, dem hübschen arabischen Gesicht und seinem untadeligen und sanften Gemüt. Khaled ist ein hervorragendes Reitpferd und western sowie englisch geritten. Wir haben durch KHALED beinahe keine Schimmel mehr in unserer Nachzucht, er brachte uns sogar Rappen aus Schimmel-Müttern. Viele umsichtige Stutenbesitzer bringen ihre wertvollen Stuten zu Khaled und die Nachzucht auch der Fremdstuten ist überzeugend. Die weiteste Reise legte eine Rappstute aus Amerika zurück. Da der Auhof nur eine begrenzte Aufnahmekapazität hat, legen wir Wert darauf, nur ägyptische Stuten dem Hengst zuzuführen, so wie das der Bestand der eigenen Zuchtstätte darstellt. | |
 | Da die Rappfarbe eine Rarität ist und sich äußerster Beliebtheit erfreut, ist Khaled natürlich der geeignete Parter sehr guter und farbiger Stuten. Nach Aussagen von Experten ist KHALED EL ASSUAD der wohl zur Zeit beste und edelste Rapphengst Europas und darüber hinaus. | |
| Sein Vorgänger im Gestüt, der noble Dahman Shawan Hengst Assiut, hat für die Farbzucht bereits einiges getan und gab durch seine dunkelbraune Farbe eine gute Farbgrundlage. Als KHALED auf den Hof kam und sich schon bald darauf eine junge Züchterin Hals über Kopf in Assiut verliebte, war es nicht so schwer, ihr den Hengst anzuvertrauen, und so verließ er seine Wirkungsstätte nach nur kurzem Zuchteinsatz, mit KHALED als einem würdigen Nachfolger. | ||
| KHALED EL ASSUAD ist mit seinen 1,58 Stockmaß eine imposante Hengsterscheinung mit einem guten maskulinen Ausdruck, einem herrlichen Schwanenhals und traumhaftem Araberhechtkopf! Er wird trotz seiner immer präsenten Hengstigkeit von jungen Mädchen gepflegt und auch geritten und ist immer umgänglich! KHALED EL ASSUAD ist der lebende Beweis des unübertroffenen Könnens der begnadeten Pferdezüchter Arabiens. Das soll hier nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen weitergeführt werden - sofern ein einziges Züchterleben überhaupt dafür ausreichen kann! Die bereits vorhandene Nachzuchtherde im Gestüt beweist allerdings die Richtigkeit des eingeschlagenen Weges. Als Erfolg muß gewertet werden, daß heuer im Frühjahr vier wertvolle junge Zuchtpferd, alle Kinder von KHALED, nach Kanada zum Aufbau einer rein ägyptischen Rappzucht exportiert werden konnten! Das ist das Resultat konsequenten Handelns und der Entscheidung, nur und ausschließlich gekörte und leistungsgeprüfte Hengste zur Zucht einzusetzen! Verantwortungsvolle Züchter und solche, die es werden wollen, sollten das beherzigen. Schon bei dem Gedanken, ein eigenes Fohlen nachziehen zu wollen, so wie es vielen Leuten irgendwann einem vorschwebt, müßten sich zukünftige Züchter ihrer Verantwortung in diesem Sinne bewußt sein. |

A jewel of Straight Egyptian Arabian horse breeding impersonats the black KHALED EL ASSUAD. After being effective at Karolinenhof for a few years, this exceedingly typey and noble breeding stallion moved to the Auhof Stud of the Graf von Schiele zu Hohenwaldeck family in Kulmbach in Bavaria. |
| KHALED was born on 07.08.83 at the Brigittenhof. Both of his parents originate from the world’s most famous Arabian Stud: El Zahraa. His mother, the chestnut mare Khaythara is descending from the Saqlawia Gidrania family through the dark brown Mabrouka, which was elected for El Zahraa by the Royal Inshass Stud. Mother's father, Sabeel, being a son of the famous Gassir, born from the Hamdan daughter Shahbaa, a member of the Kuhaylan Kroush family. |
| Kasr el Nile, KHALED's father, also born and raised in El Zahraa, found his way via Topolszianky to the German Brigittenhof. His mother, the so elegant chestnut mare Bint el Nile, has Anter as her father, so this way blood connection has been established in respect to the mother's mother Rakia, also an Anter-daughter. |
| His nearly black brown coat, Kasr el Nile got through his world-famous father Tuhotmos, exported to USA still at old age (a tremendous amount still then was payed for him, as subsequently did his breeding fees, running to five-digit numbers). Actually, Tuhotmos is responsible for many dark-pigmented horsed in Egyptian Arabian horse-breeding. And: Tuhotmos is a son of the legendary Moniet el Nefous on which an own book exists, and the brown Dahman Shawan stallion El Sareii. | |
| But back now to KHALED EL ASSUAD, "the immortal Black", as the names meaning is. His breeding license he got 1985 in Darmstadt-Kranichstein and only one year later he became Top Ten Stallion at the highly noted Asil Cup. His performance test for stallions - only a few stallions nowadays can attend on with that qualification - he 1987 passed with an excellent result. And it was Medingen, the most difficult and hardest performance test in Germany, where he got through it - within a bunch of Trakehnian competitors. And where he even was awarded with the permission of being mated to every horse breed as a tribute to his efficiency, beauty, willingness and character. So to be recommended as an universal improver in the historical tradition of his most famous consanguinity in many centuries before. In nice series to this, KHALED succeeded in winning the International Championships in Baden Baden 1989, and also a fourth place at the World Championship in Paris should not be conceiled. | |
| Beside of his show career, the stallion was accurately trained for english as well as western riding and he really is an outstanding saddle horse, a delight to work with him - even side to side on tour with one of his mares! During his prevailing stud engagement here in Kulmbach, KHALED was able to assert himself within the resident stud mare herd. So to say, he imprinted his stamp onto all of his children. And not only he did so regarding colour, but also in respect to his elegance, his pretty Arabian face and his blameless and gentle character. Due to KHALED, we scarcely get greys amongst our foals, even he is producing blacks out of grey mothers (which of course were selected also for their genetic capacity in respect to black colour). | |
| In consistency, many a circumspecting breeders are bringing their precious mares to KHALED and equally the foals of extern matings are very convincing. Maybe a good example for KHALED's popularity is the fact, that a few years ago a black mare was sent on the long journey all the way from America - to return pregnant from this outstanding hereditor. |
| For the Auhof Stud only possesses a limited capacity, we set value on only to mate pure Egyptian mares to this stallion, just the same as the stock of the own stud is representing it. Because of the fact that the black colour is rare and enjoying great popularity, KHALED is the appropriate partner for high quality pigmented mares. According to statements of several experts, KHALED is supposed to be the best and noblest black stallion at the time in Europe and beyond. His predecessor at our stud, the noble Dahman Shawan stallion Assiut, already contributed a lot to colour-breeding and with his dark-brown jacket produced a sound basis for pigment. When then KHALED arrived at the farm and soon after a young horse lady fell in love with Assiut, it was not that grievous, to entrust her with the stallion. And so he left his sphere of action after only a short period of being at stud: With KHALED as his worthy successor. | |
| KHALED EL ASSUAD depicts with his 15 hands 2 ½ in (1,58 m) stick-measure an impressive vision of a stallion. With handsome masculine expression, gorgeous swan neck and a truly dreamlike dish-nosed head. And though he's a herd sire every moment and with every fibre, he is groomed - and also ridden - by young girls, and always affable. KHALED EL ASSUAD is the living proof of the unexcelled prowess of Arabia's ingenious horse breeders. This shall be continued here to the best of our knowledge and belief - inasmuch as a single breeder's life after all can be sufficient for it! The already existing offspring (first and second generation) at our stud indeed proofes the correctness of the adopted course. It must be considered as a success, that four precious young breeding-horses, all of them children of KHALED, could be exported to Canada as the foundation of a pure black Straight Egyptian breeding program! This has to be seen as the result of a consequent way of acting and of the decision, to use only and exclusively licenced and performance tested stallions for breeding. Responsible breeders and such, who wish to become it, should bear this in mind. Even at the consideration of breeding one own foal - like many people are having this in mind for some time - the prospective breeders are obliged to be aware of their responsibility in that sense. |
