Export of straight Egyptian horses to Great Britain:

In the Beginning of September 2007, a collection of 10 breeding horses left our Stud Gut Auhof at Kulmbach/Mainleus, in direction to the South of Great Britain. In Sussex the family Kuhn owns a great farm with 30 ha of ground and parks. They created a new stud with egyptian horses with the mostly preferred colour black. They took into consideration at a high level the correct pedigrees of the horses as well as breeding and show criterias. Furthermore, they must be good riding horses. The new owners brought the "Arabitis" from Mallorce where they own a finca with arabian riding horses.

Very fast the stud "Rotherhill House Stud" has been installed, new stables have been built and the horses from the Auhof have been urgently expected. The enterprise Wiechert with its special van carried out the transport with their perfect know how.

The shortly acknowledged visit of family Kuhn at the Auhof has been fastly arranged. During the visit the family let to know that they do not want to buy one horse but a whole collection of breeding horses was of interest. But the choice of the horses was easy because at the Auhof a change in generation is taking place and so it was possible to sell 7 blacks, 2 chestnuts and one bay horse.

The very beautiful black mare Sheila Bint Khaled, the black mare Ishtar GzH as well as further young black mares were choosen, as well as an extremely beautiful black young stallion - the last son of Khaled el Assuad who carries the name Khaled GzH, as well as the wonderful Al Kidir daughter, the bay Isabellah GzH out of the Issa Bint Khaled.  Furthermore, the beautiful Dahma Shawania mare Moheba el Dahma as well from Khaled el Assuad out of Masuda from Ibn Galal, as well as the noble chestnut mare Isha Bint Khaled have been choosen and bought. Most of the mares are in foal from the black young stallion "Nijm GzH" from the Gut Auhof, which is from Waseem Mouraad out of Nazeerah II by Mak el Ahmar from the Seidlitz stud.

For the breeder of the Auhof it was a necessity that the new breeders will continue the breeding on the basis of the Auhof. This promise has been given with great pleasure and so it was much easier to give away the horses bred by the Auhof.

Most of the breeding horses are coming from the family Hadban Enzahi, the foundation mare Venus, with which has been intensively bred at the Auhof. The young black stallion is a double Kuhailan Jellaby, whose family is no longer available in Egypt and only some in America and Europe.

The foal from the Dahma Shawanya  Moheba el Dahma is expected with great pleasure because the father of it will be the black stallion Shammar GzH. It could be that it will be a black foal. This would be very rare in Europe - a black foal from the Farida-family!

We are thinking of sending the young black breeding stallion Nijm GzH next spring to Great Britain to fulfil his breeding exercises there. After the breeding season he will come back to the Auhof.
